Pakistani police officers hit lawyers with batons during a rally to protest the sacking of the country's top judge. Constitution once again mutilated. Top judges of Judiciary detained, held incommunicado. Lawyers & civil society incarcerated, tortured & protests brutally suppressed, brutal smothering of media & freedom of expression. Plea to all Pakistani professionals to respond to their conscience & raise their voice
