Emergency has been imposed in Pakistan which is extremely bad for the country. It is our duty to protest it and ensure that it is reveresed.

Hailing from Pakistan and pretty much embroiled in the current crisis, this community has lent so much hope as it is a testament of the fact that we , here, are not alone in our struggle against the military dictatorship and the brutal attack on the judiciary and the media. It is heartening to know that all over the world, people are united with us in these testing times.
Morever, as a student joining the University of Melbourne in 2008, I would like to thank everyone who took part in the protest on November 09/07!
