The situation in Pakistan is really bad, The hrcp building has been surrounded by police and peaceful protesters including some of our faculty members are about to be arrested. In islamabad and elsewhere the top judiciary of the country remains under house arrest and similar arrests are being made. The press has been completely muffled.
We are trying to organize a protest outside the embassy of Pakistan in New York City to express our strong disapproval of the situation in Pakistan around 2pm.
Please spread the word around to as any people and organizations as you can. Also we want to get as much press coverage as possible, so if anyone knows of anyone who can help us in in matter please contact at 917-476-6267.
